We’ve partnered with PIFF THE MAGIC DRAGON

Piff The Magic Dragon Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix

The definition of a dragon is a mythical monster like a giant reptile. In European tradition the dragon is typically fire-breathing and tends to symbolize chaos or evil, whereas in East Asia it is usually a beneficent symbol of fertility, associated with water and the heavens.  Draconic creatures appear in virtually all cultures around the globe.  Dragons and dragon motifs are featured in many works of modern literature, particularly within the fantasy genre.

The definition of a roller coaster is an amusement park attraction that consists of a light railroad track with many tight turns and steep slopes, on which people ride in small fast open cars.  Early technology featured sleds or wheeled carts that were sent down hills of snow reinforced by wooden supports. The technology evolved in the 19th century to feature railroad track using wheeled cars that were securely locked to the track. Newer innovations emerged in the early 20th century with side friction and underfriction technologies to allow for greater speeds and sharper turns. By the mid-to-late 20th century, these elements intensified with the introduction of steel roller coaster designs and the ability to invert riders.

At Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix, we decided to combine these two to create the cutest and most whimsical attraction, our Dragon Coaster.  In celebration of our 30th birthday this year, we’ve partnered with PIFF THE MAGIC DRAGON, who will officially rename our roller coaster, the PIFF THE MAGIC DRAGON COASTER!  Festivities kick-off at 10AM Saturday, March 12th.  The first ten children through the door will take the inaugural ride with the legendary performer.

Since we like to mash things up, we’ve also created the DOUBLE DRAGON PACKAGE that combines a one-hour LVMGP experience with a ticket to see PIFF THE MAGIC DRAGON at the Flamingo hotel.  In May 2015, Piff appeared on the 10th season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent.  He finished in the Bottom 5 of the Top 10.  Later that year, PIFF debuted on the famed Las Vegas strip.

At Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix, we are all about family and fun.  We are super excited to partner with PIFF!  His show is so much fun!  Our roller coaster is so much fun!  Our new DOUBLE DRAGON PACKCAGE is double fun, and can be booked online at www.lvmgp.com
